Who would like to have chocolate for breakfast? I know I do and that's why I came up with this recipe for a rich and vegan chocolate oatmeal.
It's filled with fiber, protein, delicious flavors, superfoods and perfect fuel for a long day!
Here's the recipe for a single serving:
1 ripe banana
200 ml soymilk (or half water)
2 dl oats
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 scoop vegan chocolate protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp salted peanutbutter (or a pinch of salt)
Mash the banana and mix with the milk in a casserole over low-medium heat. When it's become a banana milk, add the oats, cocoa powder and the peanutbutter. Stir until it comes to the boil and turn the heat off. It should be a thick and creamy consistency now. Add more milk or more oats to get the perfect consistency for your liking.
Transfer into a cute bowl and serve with your favorite toppings and a little cold soy milk.
I topped my porridge with cocoa nibs, a vanilla protein bar and some more cold soy milk. It was a heavenly bowl of goodness guys. Give it a try and be creative.
