Today's recipe is an easy breakfast for you to cook on lazy days where you crave something warm, comforting, crispy and still want it to be healthy. I've experimented a little with these breakfast oatcakes and I'm finally happy with the flavor! It's actually like baked oatmeal but not moist and gooey, instead it's crispy and super great when you pour some natural sweetened milk over it.
80 g oats
20 g coconut flour
20 g chopped nuts
1 mashed ripe banana
1 tsp cinnamon/1 tbsp cocoa powder/1 scoop protein powder
1 tbsp natural sweetener like honey
Mix all the ingredients and put the mixture into a baking dish or form as cookies if you want them to bake faster. Bake for 20-40 minutes according to the size of the cake and serve with your favorite toppings!
