Berry crumble

This is an update on the first recipe I posted on my blog for the blueberry crumble because when I made it yesterday, it turned out to be a perfect crunchy and crispy crumble without any butter, sugar or flour! So naturally, I needed to share this amazing and 100% healthy recipe with you again!

I made this crumble with blackberries from our garden but you can use any kind of delicious berries, even frozen berries works! This beautiful dish works best as breakfast, lunch or dessert but I wouldn't mind having it for dinner or munching from it through the day.

I didn't measure the ingredients so it's not the exact amount I've written down. Just go to my first blogpost if you want to see how much I used to make one serving.

Here's the recipe:

200 g berries (or enough to cover the bottom of your baking dish)
80 g oats
50 g almonds
50 g peanuts
20 g walnuts, pecans or cashews
1 mashed banana

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 392 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cover the bottom of your baking dish with berries and cover the berries with the mashed banana to sweeten them a bit. The mashed banana can easily be left out if your berries are super sweet from nature.

Cover with a thin layer of oats.

Chop the nuts and spread it all over!

Add some honey to roast the nuts, give it a perfect glace and just the right amount of sweetness for your liking. Bake for 25 minutes and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving with skyr or greek yoghurt. You can also store it in the fridge and enjoy it cold like I do as an easy but incredibly yummy breakfast. You'll love it!
